Watch Boston Marathon Best Moments on Monday – Women’s Running

On Monday April 20, the 26.2 miles connecting Hopkinton, MA to Boylston Street in Boston will be quieter than the day’s original intention — the 124th Boston Marathon. Instead, America’s historic race will be held on September 14th due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

For the thousands of would-be runners and devoted spectators who are now sheltering indoors, there is sure to be a little bit of melancholy for what the day could have been.  

But NBC Sports has stepped in to help the run community fill the void while doing their duty of staying home. In place of what would be their 2020 Boston Marathon coverage, Olympic Channel will kick off Marathon Week starting with 20 hours of past Boston footage.
