We have partnered with London-based, contemporary florist @graceandthorn to create a stunning wreath which you can recreate at home with our step-by-step guide. We hope you love the therapeutic benefits that arranging flowers can bring this season.
So, prepare yourself a mug of mulled wine, pop on a relaxing seasonal Spotify playlist and settle in to this festive activity.
You will need: A moss wreath base, Rosemary, Eucalyptus, Asparagus Fern, Conifer and Eucalyptus seed pods for the base of your wreath. You will also need Lavender, Cotton, dried Apple slices and dried Orange slices to decorate your wreath.
Build up the edge of your wreath base using the fresh mixture of Rosemary, Eucalyptus, Fern and Conifer. Think about mixing and layering the textures for a wild and natural look. To do this, group together a small handful of different types of foliage. Then, using the wire, secure the stems together and pin to the moss wreath frame.
Next, use floristry wire to pin your decorative pieces to the wreath base – pinning Lavender, Apple slices, Orange slices and the buds of Cotton to your wreath. These items will make up most of the decoration so go wild and make it your own!
Tie the ribbon provided in a loop around the top of your wreath – keep it long enough so you can hang over the top of a door inside your home and pin in place with a drawing pin. The amazing scent will fill the room in no time!
Prepare to receive lots of compliments from all your guests this winter!
